1940's House with Modern Lines

This home called for a very linear garden and the homeowners required that the plant material consist of the least amount of blooming plants due to allergies. To still have a contrasting plant palette, plants with variegated leaves, a hue of different shades of green and of different mature heights were chosen. The only flowering plants are located at the end of each flowerbed, adding a splash of red to an otherwise green garden.
